Mr World Rohit Khandelwal gets felicitated by Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis
The model-actor became Mr World by chance and says the feeling has not sunk in as yet. He was quoted as saying, “It was completely by chance. One day I saw this ad with previous Mister India Prateik Jain saying ‘Do you want to be Mr. India?’ At that moment, I thought this wasn’t for me. Then I read the description: The person should have a unique charm and should be good-natured. That is when I felt that I could do it.”
Born in Hyderabad in 1989, Khandelwal has worked in firms like Spice Jet and Dell Computers before foraying into the entertainment industry. He has done a stint on TV as well. Rohit was seen on Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Million Dollar Girl. He has also done MTV’s Big F and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. The young man worked hard on his body to get that chiseled look and his story is quite inspirational. Rohit from a business family and went against his father’s wishes to join the entertainment industry. Besides these, he likes to spend time with children. We are sure that many Bollywood producers would be eyeing this hot property.
The young man has Bollywood dreams and want to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. However, he is now focusing on social initiatives.
