It is often seen that while lead actors of a daily soap have crackling chemistry on screen, they don’t always have a good relationship off it. In the past there have been several instances where TV actors don’t see eye to eye despite playing romantic interests on screen. Hina Khan-Karan Mehra, Drashti Dhami-Vivien Dsena, Siddharth Shukla-Rashmi Desai, Deepika Singh-Anas Rashid are all examples of onscreen couples who couldn’t tolerate each other in real life. And from what we hear, there is something similar brewing in the lives of Colors’ daily soap Roop’s actors, Shashank Vyas and Donal Bisht. As per a report, they recently got into a verbal spat, when the Shashank laughed on Donal for requiring several retakes.
BollywoodLife got in touch with both the actors to know their perspective. Donal Bisht, who is best known for Ekk Deewana Tha, said “I don’t know where this news has come. Creative discussions do happen on set. It’s not a fight. It’s all baseless.” When we probed the actress to tell us as to what exactly happened, she retorted, “Nothing really happened. We were doing a scene, and we were just discussing how to do it. I don’t know who is creating this news!” The report also states that Donal was giving several retakes, due to which Shashank broke into laughter. “There’s no retake, nothing,” said Donal, laughing it off, adding, “A disagreement between the two of us has never happened. Just different creative thoughts that’s it. But no fight has happened. This news is only to spice things up!”
Talking about her equation with Vyas, she stated, “We usually do our scenes in one take. He is a good actor. We do our scenes after a lot of discussion. We are also, good friends. Probably there would be some misunderstanding.”
On the other hand, Shashank was in no mood to speak about the tussle. When we contacted him, Vyas refused to share the details with us and instead asked us to get in touch with the channel.
