Deepika Padukone made a rather stunning appearance on the red carpet at the 71st Cannes Film Festival when she opted for a sheer white Zuhair Murad ensemble. The white attire, with a long cape and floral thread embroidery, was the perfect pick for a red carpet outing and we are glad DP got it right this time. She literally sizzled in the creation and we bet she set the temperatures soaring in the French city. Blessed with a tall and athletic frame, she has an ability to nail any attire and we are glad her stylist, Shaleena Nathani, picked an ensemble that flatters her hot bod further.
Deepika Padukone has always been a stunner, especially in white. Now that’s just a random observation we made after going through her numerous outings in the past. Every time, the actress steps out in a white attire, the results have been nothing short of marvellous. Okay, so let’s ignore the one she picked for her debut at Met Gala last year. The Tommy Hilfiger white gown with embellished straps was unflattering and didn’t radiate the oomph that was expected from her. Nonetheless, she soon corrected her mistake and showed us how is it done right. The Padmaavat actress has time and again proved that white is always right. Be it the IIFA awards ceremony or the Met Gala recently, Deepika has nailed different shades of white with her chutzpah. Wonder if we are exaggerating? So, we guess, Deepika Padukone does have a penchant for white when it comes to her different appearances. From opting for sarees to going all bold, she always had this colour in her wardrobe and she nailed it effortlessly each time. We wonder if these were conscious decisions on her part or a mere coincidence that she sizzled every time she picked white. Nonetheless, as long as she looks ravishing and wins our hearts, we have no qualms about the colour she picks
