Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0 is all set to release on the big screens this weekend. The S Shankar-directorial is a sequel to Robot, released as Enthiran in Tamil, in 2010. The film released the trailer a few weeks ago, showcasing Chitti’s return and he is surrounded by newer faces this time around. Unlike Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who became the robot’s love interest in the first movie, Chitti will be seen with Amy Jackson and fighting a new villain played by Akshay.

The bookings for the movie has opened in all metro cities. The film is being released in three languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film will be available in 2D and 3D. The film is being released in 6600-6800 screens across the country, which is way above Baahubali’s screen count. If you are planning on booking tickets for the movie, let us tell you that it could be an expensive affair.

As per ticket booking websites, prices for 2.0 tickets range from Rs 118 to a whopping Rs 1550. Yes, people are ready to shell out about Rs 1150 for a ticket just to watch Chitti re-assembled, putting up a fight against the bird like man. The most expensive ticket is being sold in Mumbai. Two theatres in the city are offering these tickets, one of which is filling fast. Let us warn you the prices are sans taxes.

Coming third in this list is Kolkata. A ticket for 2.0 in the city could cost you about Rs 1030. As compared to the two cities, tickets in cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Pune are selling tickets below Rs 1000.
