We recently learned Selena Gomez has been recovering in a rehab facility in Tennessee, but new photos show that this past Friday, on Oct. 7, the “Kill Em With Kindness” singer was taking a break while visiting a local arcade. Selena, 24, was pictured in comfortable clothing, as she was seen wearing a loose cream-colored sweater, skintight black leggings, an oversized white jacket, and fur-lined boots. Her hair was styled in soft waves, but it appeared as though she wasn’t wearing any makeup. And she was by herself while checking out a display of ice cream
As we previously told you, Selena cancelled the rest of her Revival Tour dates in order to work on her health, specifically issues with anxiety and depression. And since then, she’s been keeping a very low profile, so these new photos are pretty exciting. Selena looks great and we love that she’s in comfortable clothing, taking care of herself!
“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,’ Selena’s statement shared. I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges. I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues,” she told PEOPLE magazine in August.
