Which movie will you watch this weekend?

Finally, the ticket windows will have the entry of new films. Since Tiger Zinda Hai happened, box office has only counted the monies the Salman Khan movie collected. It has already become his second highest grossing film and the fifth film to attain Rs 300 crore in its runtime. It needs to be seen where it goes from here. But since theatres can’t just have a Tiger in it, it will soon have a crazy man about to die, a desi boxer out to prove himself against all odds and some ghostly beings. After a week of no worthwhile release, here comes three to whet your appetite. There’s Saif Ali Khan’s first feature of 2018 Kaalakaandi, which looks pretty ‘high’ on craziness, then Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz which explores the boxing circus at the hinterland and a return of a horror series. Are they worth it? Well, our bets are on Kaalakaandi of course, because it’s unlike anything that we have seen before. But before you take a call, here’s a bit more about the films.
