The child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt are absolutely shocking, and he is vehemently denying them. He is reportedly being investigated by the LAPD and CPS, but a source close to him insists the actor is innocent.
“He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children,” an insider close to Brad Pitt, 52, tells TMZ, regarding claims he got verbally abusive and physical with his kids on a private plane last week. “It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”

Just five days before Angelina Jolie, 41, filed for divorce, the A-list couple was reportedly traveling with their kids (although the identities of who was present have not been confirmed) when Brad allegedly got drunk and a scary incident occurred, TMZ reports. During the flight, the 52-year-old allegedly started screaming at the children, and even allegedly got physical, and when the plane landed, things did not calm down. The situation was anonymously reported to Children & Family Services, and Brad and Angie were interviewed, according to the gossip site.

The incident is reportedly what finally pushed Angie to end the marriage, and she lists the date of separation as Sept. 16, just two days after the alleged abuse. In her divorce docs, the actress asks for full physical custody of the children, only allowing Brad visitation. He has yet to file a response.

Since the split, the World War Z star has publicly made the children his focus, revealing in a statement that he’s devastated about the breakup, but his focus is the “well-being of our kids.” The six kids were spotted at the park with Angie’s brother, James Haven, on Sept. 18.
