We have watched the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teaser trailer more than a gazillion times now ever since it released! And why not? With a stellar star cast and a compelling storyline, Karan Johar is all set to cook up a storm with his next film. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan in key roles. Although we didn’t get to see much of Fawad Khan throughout the teaser, we just couldn’t stop drooling over him over those few glimpses we got to see of him! His previous movies Khoobsurat and Kapoor & Sons were both loved by the audience and if Ae Dil Hai Mushkil does well too, then Fawad will have three back-to-back hits at the box office. And if the teaser trailer looks so impressive, it goes without saying that the film will do seemingly well business.
We asked our trade expert Amul Mohan (editor of Super Cinema) whether ADHM will be Fawad’s hattrick film and this is what he said: “Yes for sure. I think Fawad is a very good actor. Be it Khoobsurat which is a commercial film or Kapoor & Sons which is also a commercial film but it has a lot of depth acting wise. I think, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the biggest film that any two-film-old actor can wish for in his life. So I feel that it is a very good opportunity for him, given his talent and the stature of the film. So I believe that it would be good eventually once it comes out.”
The Pakistani heartthrob is only two-films-old and yet has managed to be one of the top-notch actors in Bollywood. Over the years, a lot of Pakistani actors like Ali Zafar, Imran Abbas and Mawra Hocane have increasingly come to India to try their luck in the Indian film industry but none of them have achieved the fame Fawad has.
So tell us guys, do you think he will strike gold at the BO with ADHM?
A Karan Johar directorial, ADHM will also have Shah Rukh Khan playing a cameo. The film is slated to release on October 28, 2016.
