19 killed and 50 injured as an explosion took place at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, UK. Possibility of a terror attack.
It comes as a big shock to learn that Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert turned into a ghastly affair last night. While the US pop sensation crooned to her hit numbers, suddenly a big explosion noise left the venue in chaos. Fans and audience frantically ran around, people tried to connect with their children, everybody was running for the door, to escape from this possible terror attack. A report on Reuters states that a source quoted a possibility of a terror attack, as they suspect it could have been a suicide bomber. Prime Minister Theresa May stated that the incident was being treated as a terrorist attack. The attack killed 19 people and left over 50 injured. If the incident is confirmed to be a terrorist attack then it would be declared one of the deadliest attacks on Britain since 2005.

Ever since last night, people have been posting videos of how the sudden explosion put a halt to the concert as everybody was in a chaotic zone, trying to run away and get out of the auditorium. According to British Transit Police, at around 10:30 pm, the officers responded to a report of explosion in the Manchester arena. Although not much has been reported from the scene of attack yet but a casualty has been announced. People, whoever survived the explosion were quoted chronicling the incident and the loud explosion they heard. We have found a few videos from the scene too. As per reports, it has been claimed that the attack took place outside the venue, right near the door. Watch the chilling videos below.
Following the incident, Grande’s rep informed Billboard that she was ‘okay’ . Universal Music Group, the recording studio that owns her label took to Facebook to state, “We are deeply saddened to learn of tonight’s devastating event in Manchester. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy.” PM Theresa May commented on the incident as well. She said, “We are working to establish the full details of what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack,” she said in a statement. “All our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who have been affected.” Just a few minutes ago, even Ariana tweeted, “broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”

We wonder if this attack would jeopardise May’s upcoming election that is set to take place in two and half weeks. Also, with this explosion, the safety of celebrities and fans who attend such concerts have also become of grave concern.
