Miley Cyrus, 23, doesn’t talk about her personal life much, but in a sit down with Ellen DeGeneres on Oct. 26, she did get candid about the bling Liam Hemsworth, 26, gave her when they got engaged.
“This is really weird because this is, like, real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy,” she explained to Ellen. “And they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up. So sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And he’s kind of like…what’s going on? I am like, ‘This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.’”
UMMMM…can we just talk about how sweet that is?! Liam proposed in 2012, but the two broke up just over a year later in Sept. 2013. However, after two years apart, they reconciled at the end of 2015, and she’s been wearing her ring again ever since — even though it clearly doesn’t fit her usual style!
Unfortunately, the 23-year-old didn’t give us anymore insight into her relationship with Liam, and we’re dying to know when they plan on walking down the aisle. It was originally reported that they were going to wed in Australia at the end of summer, but now, they’re reportedly planning to elope by the end of the year instead. Either way, we are totally shipping these two!
