Mick Jagger is going to be a dad again at 73 years old, HollywoodLife.com can confirm. This will be Mick and Melanie’s first child together and Melanie’s first ever. Mick is already a father to seven kids — Karis, 45, Jade, 44, Elizabeth, 32, James, 30, Georgia, 24, Gabriel, 18, and Lucas, 17. Mick will turn 73 years old on July 26.

Mick has been “incredibly supportive” since finding out he’ll be a father again, a source told The Sun. Melanie is very excited about the baby. “She knows what a great relationship Mick has with all of his children and can’t wait for him to be a dad again,” the source said.

Mick and Melanie have not publicly commented on the pregnancy yet. The couple has been together since 2014. Melanie will reportedly not live in London with Mick. She is expected to move to Los Angeles or Connecticut to be near her family.

Mick has only been married once — to Bianca Jagger. He has four kids with former longtime partner Jerry Hall. He dated fashion designer L’Wren Scott from 2001 until her suicide in 2014.

The singer will have a lot of time to prepare for his eighth child. The Rolling Stones are expected to perform at the Desert Trip Festival in Oct. 2016. They also have a concert scheduled in Las Vegas that month as well. Other than that — he’s a free man!

The exciting news of Mick and Melanie’s impending arrival comes two months after Mick’s Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood welcomed twins at 68 years old. Congrats again to Mick and Melanie!
