So what if Katrina Kaif failed to impress with Baar Baar Dekho? The actress has an interesting lineup of films coming up and you’ve gotta check them out…

Blame it on director Nitya Mehra’s execution or the mere concept of time travel, Katrina Kaif’s Baar Baar Dekho opposite Sidharth Malhotra has failed to live up to our expectations but turns out she’s got a rather exciting line up coming up soon after. Yea! Although not all her forthcoming ventures are confirmed as yet but we hear filmmakers are desperately waiting to cast her in their films. Probably, her break up with Ranbir Kapoor has brought her luck? Anyway, let’s not get there and quickly look at the positive side with the kind of films Katrina has in store for us after Baar Baar Dekho and if at all they’ll be worth our wait or no…

Jagga Jasoos

Release date: 3 April, 2017

This one’s an Anurag Basu directorial which has been in the making for a really long time. Starring Katrina along with ex Ranbir Kapoor, it’s basically a detective venture which revolves around the life of Jagga (Ranbir) who becomes recluse when his dad suspiciously gets killed. As he grows up, his only motto is to learn about the killer. Katrina plays a dedicated lover who assists Ranbir in his journey to find the reason behind his dad’s death and travels with him to Kolkata and Morocco. Now does he find the killer? And what happens to Katrina and Ranbir’s love story once the mission is over? Only time will tell but right now we can give you an assurance that this film is going to attract maximum audience at the theaters for its the first and the only film of Katrina and Ranbir together, post their breakup. Not to mention, their chemistry too is something that’s going to grab a lotta attention…

Aanand L Rai’s dwarf film with Shah Rukh Khan

Release date: 21 December, 2018

After Jagga Jasoos, this is the most likely film Katrina is planning to take up for she has already spoken to Aanand L Rai and is keen on reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan. However turns out it’s going to be a two heroine project with not just Katrina but one more actress joining on board. In fact, you know what’s even more interesting? Insiders reveal how Deepika Padukone was offered this film first but with Aanand moving on to lock Katrina as his heroine, DP is super miffed with the director right now. Ahem! In that case, will Deepika agree to play the second heroine opposite Katrina and SRK? We doubt! But knowing we are close to having Katrina and Shah Rukh’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan reunion with this one, the film gotta be special. Amirite?

Fawad Khan’s next Raat Baaki

Release date: Not confirmed

Word is that Karan Johar and Fox Studios are jointly considering Katrina and Fawad for their next production – a love story binding two Punjabi families. Although Katrina’s refused to confirm the same by maintaining that the film is yet to be announced. But buzz is that she’s already given a nod and is probably only left to work out her dates for this film. Now will this materialise or no? We’ll have to wait and watch but if at all everything falls in place, this film with Fawad is certainly going to be one of a kind. I mean, the very visual of Fawad and Katrina romancing on the screen is already making us go bonkers. How about you?

Tiger Zinda Hai

Release date: Still in talks

And last but not the least is this Ali Abbas Zafar film co-starring Salman Khan. Knowing how Ali is close to both Salman and Katrina, he’s super excited to collaborate with the two. After all, haven’t we all been desperately waiting to see ex lovers Katrina and Salman reunite on the big screen? Add to that, even in our exclusive interview during Sultan, Ali revealed how he’s soon planning to collaborate with Katrina for a film. So how many for Katrina and Salman’s reunion?

Well on that note, let’s really hope Katrina makes some wise choices this time and doesn’t repeat a ‘Fitoor’ or a ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. What are your thoughts? Tell us in the comments below and we’ll be back with more updates right here, only on BollywoodLife!
