Oh no! Another adorable Hollywood couple has bit the dust, with singer Josh Groban and actress Kat Dennings going their separate ways after two years as a couple. Keep reading to see why these cuties weren’t able to make things work.
We sure didn’t see this one coming. Crooner Josh Groban, 35, and CBS’ Two Broke Girls star Kat Dennings, 30, are no longer a thing. “It was a mutual breakup,” a source told E! News. “They are still friends and care about each other, but it’s not the right time for them now as a couple.” The unlikely pair made their first public appearance together in Oct. 2014 when they went as dates to the Beverly Hills Carousel of Hope Ball. It was at that event that Kat heard her man sing live for the very first time.

Josh told Ellen DeGeneres when their relationship began that, “She’s, well, she’s such a brilliant and funny person. Humor is such a huge thing for me, so the fact that we could talk about Monty Python and all sorts of weird other things, I was like, ‘OK, yeah, we’re on the same page.’” So sad that their magic and humor couldn’t go the distance.

It comes as a time when Kat’s Two Broke Girls star Beth Behrs, 30, is having the exact opposite situation happen in her love life as she just got engaged in July to her longtime boyfriend, former Mad Men star Michael Gladis, 38. After she accepted the proposal of her boyfriend of six years she wrote on her Instagram, “I said yes!! 6 years down a lifetime to go! #love,” while posting a series of pictures from the big proposal moment. She also tweeted,”Thank you also to my beautiful friends and family! Can’t wait to celebrate!” Beth actually introduced Josh and Kat so we’re sure she’ll be stunned that they didn’t make it after all this time together.

Hopefully Beth will be able to help console Kat through her heartbreak following her shocking split with Josh, as the two ladies are back at work shooting the new season of their hit TV comedy.
