Vogue India comes under fire for featuring Kendall Jenner on its 10th anniversary issue.
Vogue India is in for some major hate as everybody is pissed at them for featuring Kendall Jenner on their mag cover for the 10th anniversary issue! To mark their 10th year as a successful fashion magazine in India, Vogue decided to go international. They brought in Mario Testino and Kendall to commemorate the celebration. While the mag did team up with Sushant Singh Rajput and Katrina Kaif as well, they received a lot of flak for putting the famous supermodel on the cover. ‘Don’t we have any pretty actresses in the industry for the cover?’ asked a few people as they dissed the magazine. What backfired was the fact that they had, in fact, collaborated with two Indian celebrities and yet, chose to bury their photoshoot pics somewhere inside the magazine.

Hold your horses there, cynical Indians! You might think that only people of our country were offended by the cover but hell no! Turns out people all over the world had a problem with Kendall’s presence on the cover. Many of them pointed out the fact that our country has a lot of gorgeous looking ladies. Despite that, the magazine opted for an international face. While we were doing our research, we came across this post on Vogue’s Insta handle where two individuals made some valid points about how they should’ve taken an Indian beauty and why they may have chosen Kendall. You can check it all out below.
