Global domination for Deepika Padukone may start by featuring on Vanity Fair’s Hollywood’s Gen Next list but she sure is Queen Bee of Bollywood! The actress, was recently at a promotional event held in Cochin, Kerala. Now before we start with the whole gushfest we have saved for this diva, we’d like to mention that she is doing it already at the event as she speaks about Cochin. Dippy’s rage is witnessed almost in all corners of India and it was the same kind of madness that she saw as she stood on the stage while fans went berserk. There were screams and woohoo’s coming from all sides of the stage.
The diva started talking and with a natural energy, stated how she adores Kerala. She said, “I am so glad to be here in Cochin. I have been coming here since I started working as a model, and I have come here so many times. I shot some movies here, I shot many ads here. And every time I come back I feel so much love and warmth. Plus the food here, I love the Kerala food. I will be back very soon, maybe for a holiday. Thank you!” Wow. Miss Padukone kept it short and sweet and yet won our hearts over. Not just the speech, even her Ferragamo separates got us excited! She looked simply chic in the vertical striped separates teamed with Schutz strappy heels. Although, I would’ve avoided the belt that she chose for this ensemble.
Just a few moments ago we had reported how the actress has been featured in Vanity Fair’s Hollywood’s Generation Next list. Deepika is one of the 12 artists featured in Hollywood’s Generation Next list by Vanity Fair. She appears alongside Lily Collins, Douglas Booth, Fin Wittrock etc in the feature. Having wrapped up her Hollywood debut action flick, DP’s next is SLB’s Padmavati. As we had reported earlier, the actress will be receiving a sum of Rs. 12.65 crores for the film that literally puts her in the top highest paid actress’ list in Bollywood. Too many reasons to be happy for DP, no?
