The sequel to Anees Bazmee’s multi-starrer comedy, No Entry, has been in the news for over a decade. There is also news that the script of a sequel to the film is completed and the hunt for the cast is on. As per latest rumours, it is being said that Akshay Kumar might replace Salman Khan in the second part of No Entry. While the original part featured Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly, the second part will have a fresh cast.

Salman Khan, who is currently juggling between Tiger Zinda Hai promotions and Race 3 shoot, has a very busy year ahead. Post wrapping Remo D’Souza’s Race 3, Salman will kickstart the shoot of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. With this kind of a hectic schedule, we doubt if Salman Khan can give dates for the No Entry sequel. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar, who is known as the master of situational comedy, has managed to wrap up his films within two to three months in recent times. With this speed, we can expect that Akshay Kumar can add this film to his kitty.

Akshay Kumar has a set of interesting films lined up in 2018-2019, with first being Padman, which is based on the life Arunachalam Muruganantham, who revolutionised the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. The film is slated to hit screens on the Republic day weekend of 2018. Post that he’ll be seen in a negative role in Rajinikanth’s 2.0. Then on Independence Day, the actor will be seen in Reema Kagti’s Gold along with Mouni Roy. While in 2019, he will be having two big releases – which are Kesari and Housefull 4. Kesari will release during the Holi weekend, whereas Housefull 4 will enjoy the box office attention during the Diwali weekend.
