Akshay Kumar is fed up of Snapchat filters and selfies, is Toilet Ek Prem Katha co-star Bhumi Pednekar to be blamed?
Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar do not just share a great camaraderie on and off screen, the duo seem to have clash of opinions too. So, while we see this adorable couple fight over a toilet in the movie, it seems like in real life these two actors have disagreements over social media. BollywoodLife in an EXCLUSIVE interview with the two stars asked them about a few current Bollywood trends that they’d like to keep and some that they’d like to ditch. While Bhumi was all excited about selfie and Snapchat, Akshay seemed pretty vary of social media. Akshay in fact would like to flush the selfie and Snapchat filters, while Bhumi obviously loves it!
Akshay even went on to say how Bhumi is crazy about clicking pics. When Akshay revealed that he’d rather do away with the selfie trend we probed the actor further and he said, “No, I am, but itna nahi. She goes mad. 24 ghante selfie per rehti hai. She’s on a selfie mode only. I’ve seen her, raat ko sone se pehle bhi she checks it out. If the angle has changed that means it’s not a nice night.” Of course the Khiladi Kumar managed to leave us and his co-star in splits by the end of this conversation.
Akshay and Bhumi are pairing up for the first time in Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. This movie was originally supposed to clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer, Imtiaz Ali film Jab Harry Met Sejal. However, SRK’s team decided to avert the clash and instead picked a release date, which was a week ahead of Akshay’s film. Toilet – Ek Prem Katha is all set to release on Friday, August 11 and going by the trailers the film will spell success for Akshay and Bhumi at the box office.
