Director Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has turned out to be a huge blockbuster at the global market. Being a film with no big stars, the urban romantic comedy has attracted a huge chunk of the audience due to its hilarious content and bang on comic punches. Apart from the domestic market, it has managed to earn well in the international circuits as well. Till now Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has grossed Rs 121.46 crore (nett. Rs 86.46 crore) in India and Rs 14.30 crore at the overseas box office. The film now stands with the grand total of Rs 135.46 crore at the global box office.

Featuring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar in pivotal roles, the film is produced by Krishan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series along with Ankur Garg. Talking about the grand success, actor Kartik recently said, “I cannot express how happy I am with its success. The box office numbers and critical acclaim that the film has received is great. People have told me that they have watched the film seven times. Such reactions are coming in the industry after a long time and being a part of such a film is great. I am happy with the success of the film.”
Talking about her complex character which is loved by the audience, actress Nushrat Bharucha said, “I remember the first time I saw ‘Gupt’, I was blown away. Kajol shocked people with her choice of role. She did it when she was in the prime of her career. Ever since then, I have been waiting to do a role like that, and then ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ happened.”
