In the wake of the success of her latest film Ittefaq, Sonakshi Sinha addressed questions about her upcoming projects. As the rumors of a possible fallout with Salman Khan had been doing the rounds, there were speculations that she might get dropped from Dabangg 3. But the actress has confirmed that she is still a part of the film, irrespective of how small the role may be.

Sonakshi rubbished these speculations and said, “Dabangg 3 is happening next year, and I am definitely in it,” as quoted by DNA. The news of the fights between the two emerged after Sonakshi turned down Arbaaz Khan’s production Dolly Ki Doli. It was said that this did not go down well with Salman.

In an interview to PTI, Sinha further said, “I am grateful to him [Salman Khan] for showing me the path and whatever I am today is because of Dabangg and because of the faith he showed in me. Rajjo will always be part of Dabangg even if it means somewhere in the background.” “It [the rumor] makes no difference to me. It is not worth talking about it. We know what equation we share,” she added.

On being asked to reveal a few details of the plot of Dabangg 3, the actress declined to talk. In a previous interview, Salman Khan had confirmed that Dabangg 3 will have Chulbul Pandey as a Robin Hood sort of figure who looks out for his neighbourhood. The film goes on the floor early next year and will reportedly also feature flashback scenes from the earlier parts of the protagonist’s life.
