Here’s some good news for all Shah Rukh Khan fans. The actor has revealed the release dates of his upcoming films – Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’ and Anand L Rai’s next – and it is closer than you think. The Bollywood Badshah, who started shooting for Imtiaz’ romantic drama over the weekend, in Prague, has said that the film will wrap up by October. SRK will be seen romancing Anushka Sharma for the second time in this film that is being slated for a mid-2017 release. He will begin work on Anand L Rai’s next love-story, which will see him playing a part of a dwarf. Director Rai recently said that the film’s script is still in works and that he has yet to finalise his leading lady. While the director is racing against time to get things done before the film goes on floors in November, Shah Rukh’s team is reportedly looking for a Christmas release. Unlike the other Khans, Shah Rukh will have three film releases in 2017, which will begin with the political drama ‘Raees’ on January 27. Three releases, with three very different roles at regular intervals; what more can the fans ask for.
Shah Rukh Khan is known for his wit and tongue-in-cheek humor and just when we think that he cannot get any wittier or cooler, he goes on and does this. King Khan just retweeted the AIB Pokemon Go spoof that has been doing rounds on social media which features a scene from his hit film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ only with a Pikachu imposed on Jaya Bachchan’s head and captioned it saying, “This is quite close to how I would feel and then of course capture it.” So, turns out Shah Rukh Khan is just like all of us, playing Pokemon Go and catch ’em, little ones!
After playing a smart don, a cunning gangster, an obsessed fan, Shah Rukh Khan will now be seen playing a dwarf. Yes, it’s official! The actor will be essaying the role of a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming project. Rai confirmed the news to PTI saying, “It (story) sounds like it is just about a dwarf but it is much more than that. It is a much taller film. It is a very entertaining and interesting love story.” The director then went on to add that he’d be a “fool” is he does not have romance and songs in a Shah Rukh film. While no one has been locked as the leading lady, rumours suggest that Kangana is being considered for the role.
