There will be a part 2 of Jagga Jasoos as well, if rumours are to be believed.
Shocked right? You must be thinking Jagga Jasoos has not yet released and the makers are already thinking about a sequel. Guess it’s all about getting the vibe that this film will work at the box office. The producers of the film it seems are pretty confident about what they have and is keen to turn it into a franchise. Taking that thought forward, they also have a story in place for the sequel, grapevine suggests. Now we are pretty sure Ranbir Kapoor will be a part of the film because he is the titular character. As for Katrina Kaif, we will have to wait and see. Our guess is given the fact that both of them are looking damn cute in it, she should be part of the sequel too.
Now the question is will Ranbir produce the sequel as well? If we go by what he told Mid-Day about being a producer, it doesn’t seem so. He had said, “I have realised it (production) is not my cup of tea. This (Jagga Jasoos) is my first and last film as a producer. I am happy being an actor. I am lazy and don’t think I am cut out to be a filmmaker. I am glad, though, that I have been credited as producer for Jagga Jasoos.” While talking about the delay and the hurdles they faced during the movie, the actor added, “None of us knew that the film would take so much time. I think it’s everyone’s mistake and we are all to be blamed for the delay.”
Jagga Jasoos is finally ready to release next Friday and the buzz around the film is pretty strong. If their chemistry is getting liked, the quirky and feel good vibe of the film is catching up with the masses. This could just be the film which will complete the hattrick of hits for Ranbir and Katrina. Well, fingers crossed….we guess!
