‘The Comedian,’ an Art Linson -scripted drama that Robert De Niro has been waiting for years, has finally come together with the English director Mike Newell.
‘The Godfather’ actor is in the final talks to start production of the film, the stand-up material for which was penned by Jeffrey Ross back in November, Deadline.com reported.
The film which is being produced by Linson along with Courtney Solomon and Atmosphere’s Mark Canton, will see the 71-year-old actor as an accomplished insult comic, on the order of Don Rickles.
