Anushka Sharma and Parambrata Chatterjee’s Pari trailer is OUT and we have to say it is not for the faint hearted!
Anushka Sharma and Parambrata Chatterjee’s Pari has intrigued one and all so far. Be it the posters or the scream videos or the teaser, the makers have kept us on the edge of our seats all this while. And today again, they managed to grab our attention as they launched the Pari trailer. And we have to say that it is horrifying as hell. Not only is it scary and spooky, but the violence and blood is something that will surely give you sleepless nights. Such horror films are hardly made in India and this one is surely a movie that you cannot miss.
In the trailer, we see the spine-chilling tale of Anushka Sharma who is possessed by a demon. We hear people talk about how she was born to complete a dead, but will she be able to? We see several instances of her being possessed, while in other scenes we see her trying to ask people for help. And while we still can’t make out the plot of Pari (kudos to the director for keeping up the level of intrigue), we are hooked throughout the 1 minute 34 second duration. In fact, after seeing the spooky scenes when she is possessed to her bloody demonic face in one particular scene and much more, we feel this is the first Indian horror movie that can be compared to the Hollywood horror films. While Anushka’s act is out of the world in this one, Parambrata Chatterjee’s performance is also fantastic. Full credit to director Prosit Roy for capturing and presenting the film in such a way. We also have to add that the background score is gripping.
