Akshay Kumar is creating great curiosity among the audience with his cool marketing strategy for Padman. After making a superb buzz with it’s out of the box posters, the actor has shared yet another poster to raise the bar of out excitement. In the latest still, we see Akshay Kumar holding a sanitary pad in his hand and seems ready to give a speech on it. The Khiladi stands against the backdrop of New York City, which means our very own padman is expected to share his journey and experience in the USA.

Akshay shared the poster on his official Twitter account and captioned it, “#PadManTalks : This pad giving woman two months extra life. Find out how… #PadMan, this Republic Day, 26.01.18 @PadManTheFilm @sonamakapoor @radhika_apte @mrsfunnybones @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #RBalki”. Well, this is not the first time, where the actor has worked in the project, which is related to the social issues. Akshay Kumar’s last film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, was a satirical drama which dealt with the sanitation in the rural regions.
In the earlier interview with a leading daily, when Akshay was asked about featuring in the film, which talks about menstruation, he replied, “If you change nothing, nothing will change. It’s not about being bold, but about breaking taboos that hold us back. I have lived with women all my life, yet I have learnt more about the topic while making this film than ever before. I do not mind who I offend or whose stomach I turn by being bold, this is not the Stone Age; menstruating is natural.” Padman which is helmed by R. Balki also features Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in key roles. The film is set to hit the screens on January 26, 2018, and will lock horns with Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Aiyaary at the box office.
