And it’s officially confirmed! Kriti Sanon has been finalised for the fourth installment of the super successful franchise of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull. Nadiadwala was the one who had also launched Kriti in Bollywood with her very first blockbuster, Heropanti. Speaking of which, Kriti elates to the big news of reuniting with her mentor saying, “Joining the cast Housefull 4 is like coming back home. My journey started with Sajid sir in Heropanti. Since then he has always been there for me and guided me. Now it’s left to see who will be the other two actresses joining Kriti in this film considering the film is a multi-starrer which also stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol. The last three parts had a combination of actresses right from Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan in the first one to Jacqueline Fernandez, Asin, Zareen Khan in the second followed by the third part starring Jacqueline, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri. So who do you think will join Kriti in this one?
Nevertheless, it’ll be interesting to see Kriti and Akshay’s romance for the first time on screen given that she’s signed to play his love interest in Housefull 4. The release date of this much awaited venture is yet to be locked but from what we hear, the makers are aiming for a December 2019 release; while they are planning to start shooting by June this year. Keep watching this space for more updates on the film because we’re sure this is just the beginning of a crazy journey. PS: Unlike the previous 3 installments, Housefull 4 is said to revolve around a reincarnation plot, although an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made.
