Kangana Ranaut opens up about her childhood, boyfriends, love at first sight and nearly giving up acting in an interview to Cosmopolitan…
Kangana Ranaut is one of the most outspoken actresses in the industry currently. She never shies away from commenting on any issue and always speaks whatever she has on mind. And looks like she did it once again! Kangana, who is on the cover of this month’s Cosmopolitan, has given an insight into her life right from her childhood journey to the top as an actress. Three things that stand out in her no holds barred interview are:

# The actress says as a kid, she enjoyed playing with dolls. Nothing unusual in that, but it had her mother spooked! That’s because at the age of 15, when other girls had boyfriends and crushes, Kangana had neither as she was obsessed with her dolls!

# She doesn’t believe in love at first sight. She says it’s “total BS. I can’t begin to comprehend how people think they will find love on a dating app. How on earth can you find someone attractive if you don’t even know them?” And, that’s the reason she is not on any dating apps.
# Kangana reveals that there was a point when she was told to let go of her acting dream because of her ‘shelf life.’ “It was something people said to me often – that I had an expiration date – as though I was sabun ki tikki.” If that’s not enough, she adds that people suggested she do a swayamvar, where she put herself up as a bait for a circus-style wedding! “It’s a perception about the industry that a female actor only has value upto a point,” she says.
Interesting revelations, aren’t they? On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut is currently working on Hansal Mehta’s Simran. She is shooting in America currently, post which she will return to Mumbai for promoting her next – Rangoon along with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
