For Harley’s platinum blonde pigtails with bold ombré color, Joico’s Celebrity Stylist Paul Norton shared the fuss-free way to get the look. First things first, if you don’t have pale to medium-dark blonde hair, you’re going to want to invest in a wig.
To get the style, Paul says to create a center part in your hair and use a texturizing spray like Joico Hair Shake Finishing Texturizer Spray, $17.99, through your hair for volume and a matte finish. Next, gather each side into a high ponytail for the pigtails and secure one with a red elastic and the other with a blue elastic.
For Harley’s ombré color, Paul recommends using the Joico InstaTint Temporary Shimmer Spray, $7.50, in Sapphire Blue on one side and Orchid on the other. The temporary color won’t damage your hair and will wash right out, and if you spray on too much, Paul says you can run a paddle brush through your hair to soften the color.
