Just yesterday, Priyanka Chopra was in London attending the Royal Wedding of her good friend, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. And today she is in Dhaka, Bangladesh. And if you are wondering why then she is there to visit Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar. Priyanka, who is the global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights will be there for four days and during this field trip, she will interact with the children at the refugee camp, which is said to be the largest in the world. In fact, soon after she landed, she headed to Cox’s Bazar and met some children there. Priyanka posted the pictures on her Instagram account with a long caption explaining about the history of the Rohingya refugee camp and urging her legion of fans to come forward and help the children, who are the forefront of the humanitarian crisis.
Priyanka has worked with UNICEF for a decade and was appointed as the national and global goodwill ambassador for Child Rights in 2010 and 2016 respectively. She promotes causes such as environment, health and education and women’s rights among many others. Last year, Priyanka had met Syrian refugee children in Jordan. It really feels good to see someone like Priyanka, who is a global celebrity coming forward and helping the children, who desperately need our help. Surely she is very proud of herself and so are we.

On the work front, Priyanka has signed her next Hindi film after a gap of two years. She will be seen opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, which also stars Disha Patani and Katrina Kaif.
