Bollywood filmmaker, Ali Abbas Zafar revealed that he has locked the script for a superhero flick which stars Katrina Kaif in the lead. He had been working on the script during the lockdown. He plans to go on a recce once the situation returns to normalcy.

It was this time last year when Bharat was out and Ali Abbas Zafar alongside Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif had been celebrating the festival with the release of their film. This time around, everything changed but the filmmaker feels glad to have rushed back home when there was a time before the lockdown was brought into effect as a result of the Novel Coronavirus. The Gunday director says it’s like a blessing in disguise as he returned to his hometown Dehradun in town and is in lockdown with his parents. Ali Abbas Zafar opened up that he had been working on some scripts in his free time. He revealed that he has penned scripts for all of his films in the mountains of Dehradun. The Bollywood filmmaker, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, revealed that he has locked the script for a superhero flick which stars Katrina Kaif in the lead. Yes, you read that right. “My next is a superhero film with Katrina (Kaif). Recently, I locked that script and it will go on the floors once the lockdown ends. Ali is meanwhile, waiting for the situation to calm down and return to normalcy. And once that happens he plans to go on a recce for the Katrina starrer. “There’s a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I’m also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer.
