When Karan Johar held a screening of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for industry friends, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s family and friends were in attendance, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the Bachchan parivaar were missing.
Yes, for long now speculations were rife that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s bold avatar in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had not gone down too well with the Bachchan parivaar. The fact that unlike during Sarbjit, husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan did not take to social media to promote Aishwarya’s film with Karan Johar. More fuel was added to these reports when Mr Bachchan during the promotions of his film Pink refused to comment about Aishwarya’s much talked about trailer of ADHM. Sr Bachchan however insisted that they had no objection to Aishwarya’s choice of project. Now all these speculations can be put to rest coz Ms Rai Bachchan will be having a special screening of her film with Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Anushka Sharma. The actress will showcase her bold new outing to her family and hence silence all gossip mongers.
A source revealed to BollywoodLife that the actress has organised a separate screening for her family. This Monday when Karan Johar held a screening for industry friends, Ranbir’s family and Anushka’s friends were in attendance, but Aishwarya and her folks were missing. Many tongues were set wagging after this again. However, now with Aishwarya having a special preview of her film the actress has set another record straight.
Aishwarya and Ranbir Kapoor’s chemistry in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is best described as sizzling. The actress even went ahead and did a pretty bold photoshoot with Ranbir for Filmfare magazine. In fact after the teaser of ADHM was out people couldn’t stop gushing about the Bachchan’s bahu’s hot new avatar. The Bulleya song took this excitement several notches higher as Ranbir-Aishwarya set the screen ablaze with their romance. The actress’ portrayal of bold Urdu poet, Saba is working in her favour.
Aishwarya who returned to the silver screen with Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa didn’t manage to leave an impact. Even her last outing, Omung Kumar’s biopic Sarbjit failed to succeed at the box office. However, looks like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will bring her back considering that people cannot stop gushing about the actress’ glamorous look. And even though Aishwarya is not the central character in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, she has managed to be in limelight. The actress will be joined by Shah Rukh Khan, who also has a cameo in this film.
