Disha Patani is all set for her Bollywood debut with MS Dhoni. The newbie will be seen playing the role of Dhoni’s girlfriend and she is super excited for the release. Ms Patani is also happy with all the positive appreciation she has been getting by now, “I have been getting very kind comments from people. I am waiting for Sept. 30 to know what people think about me.”
When asked the girl about how was it playing Captain Cool’s love interest, she said, “I took it as a character rather than taking it as MS’ girlfriend or something. I felt that part in me”. BollywoodLife even quizzed the Befikra girl about competition with Alia Bhatt, here’s what she had to say. “I am my own competition. I don’t care about anybody’s work. I am very selfish and I only care about my work,” says the actress. Bang on! Alia are you reading this?
It’s obvious that whoever makes their Bollywood debut has an idol and even Disha does. Her inspiration is Priyanka Chopra, Patani was all praises for PC. “I love her, she is amazing. I can’t really express how amazing she is. Whatever she does, she kills it,” gushes Disha. Well, we can’t agree more. Priyanka is making us proud and how!
Also Disha’s love affair with Tiger has become the talk of the town, but she is hardly affected by any gossip and speculation. “It’s their opinion, somebody’s opinion is not my reality. When people ask me I do answer, but it’s up to them they believe it or not. I am not going to keep a mark or track on what people are writing or talking about me. I care about my work and I clearly want my work to talk.” Disha is focused and we love that attitude of her’s
Further talking about Tiger, she added, “We are good friends, that’s our bond.” Also there have been lots of reports of her doing Student of the Year with Shroff junior. However Disha rubbished the news and said, “Nobody has approached me”. When asked if she is approached, will she do the film, she said, “If it is a nice script, I will do it.” Disha is extremely smart and focused and we love that about her.
