Diwali came and brought along a lot of glamour, courtesy – Bollywood and all the taash bash(es) it hosted. From intimate, house parties to full-blown fraternity galas, B-Townies sure know how to party. And look like a million bucks while they step out to do so! Remember Shah Rukh Khan’s Diwali starter? And then Karan Johar’s Dharma party? And all the other ones we told you about? Well, the reason to stress so much lies in the simple fact of fashion and we are thanking our stars!
If you haven’t guessed it already, it was a lot easy on the eyes, thanks to our divas who taught us a thing or two about styling. Not just that, we followed a trail and discovered that monotones were in vogue this week and here are best picks that have landed on our best-dressed category. Here we go…
Kareena Kapoor Khan
first, let us start by saying ‘What a smoke-show!’ Bollywood royalty Kareena wore a rich emerald saree by Raw Mango and it doesn’t get any better than this. Bebo paired it with a big stoned heirloom on those collar bones and we are still finding words to describe her charm.
Even Kriti chose to go all out and about in a ravishing red number by label Arpita Mehta and wow is the word. We love the halter-neck blouse, the layers, and the statement jewellery she wore along with it.
Shraddha was a stree we didn’t want to look away from in this royal blue cape lehenga from luxury brand Koëcsh By Krésha Bajaj and it is enchanting, to say the least. We also dig that she only opted for an eye-catchy maangtika to go with her look. Did we mention the beaded cape?
Although she is touted as the ‘Student of the year’, Ananya is on her way of becoming a fashionista who knows how to swing it. She was recently spotted in separates from Anushka Khanna’s Flash Dance collection and we love the play of pastel with the hint of golden.
Shilpa knows her way with her sarees and there are no two ways about that. She was a host this festive week and wore a beautiful Amit Aggarwal number and might we add, elegance didn’t leave the building all night. P.S- the side shoulder pallu is a reoccurrence in her wardrobe and we are not complaining!
