Shemar Moore’s first words after former co-star Thomas Gibson was fired from ‘Criminal Minds’ were about ‘karma,’ and it seems like Shemar’s message is aimed directly at Thomas. Is Shemar throwing some serious shade Thomas’ way? Watch his video message and decide for yourself!

“Lot of birdies chirping out there; the gossip is real,” Shemar said in an Instagram video on Aug. 12, which was later deleted. “I hear it, I see it. I’m sure a lot of you do too, so I’ll just say this: I believe in karma. Good things happen to good people. Honest people. Hard-working people. Humble people. People who believe in basic goodness… Good things will happen to you… Treat people how you expect them to treat you. Celebrate yourself and celebrate your blessings — as you should — but just know that you’re not better than anybody.”

Shemar doesn’t directly address his former co-star, but considering the timing of the video and his words about “karma,” Shemar’s message is seemingly all about Thomas. Shemar may be talking about the “gossip” being real, but the shade is real in this video!

ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios announced in a statement that Thomas had been fired from Criminal Minds on Aug. 12. His shocking dismissal stemmed from an on-set altercation with writer-producer Virgil Williams. Thomas has been accused of alleging kicking Virgil. He released a statement after he was fired, saying he wished he could have stayed with the show until the end of its run.

Thomas had been with Criminal Minds since its premiere in 2005. Shemar left the show at end of season 11. Shemar and his character, Derek Morgan, had an epic farewell at the end of the season. There’s been no word yet on how Thomas’ character, Aaron Hotchner, will be written off the series. Criminal Minds season 12 will premiere Sept. 28 on CBS
